Has anyone checked out the new Yuku board that ezBoard has been promoting? I haven't much yet myself, but I was curious if anyone here had checked it out and how it was received. Ultimately, every ezBoard forum can/will be converted to Yuku (not sure yet if it will be a required upgrade at some point).

If you haven't yet, check it out and let me know what you think!

Wow, I've never SEEN so much action in a topic before! I mean, I'm here often and all, but I can just hardly keep up with this one! You guys are just gonna HAVE to slow down!

Well, it's finally happened...and I didn't even have a choice. ezBoard self-upgraded our board to the Yuku system. So, of course, even I'm still getting used to it.

Let me know what you guys think about the new look. And, as soon as we get the chance, we'll see if there's anything Yuku has to offer that will allow us to spice up the board and hopefully bring in a little more life.

Mmm...I liked the old forum better. You could just sign in while posting a reply to a topic. Now if I type out a quick reply, it takes me to a new page to sign in, then I must retype what I say -.o lol

MC, it shouldn't do that. Next time you login, look and see if there's anything asking if you want it to "remember you" or something like that. For me, it keeps me logged in, so I'm able to use the Quick Reply at the bottom just like I always did.

So far, everything works the same for me, but it looks a little different. It actually feels a little darker, which I don't care for much.

Still, I haven't delved much into the features of this. The board is still unchanged from its ezBoard roots, so perhaps we'll have some new features that we can implement and make the place a little better. We're always up for suggestions, if anyone has specific ideas.

Well I did click remember me apparently...lol at the moment, the only suggestion I can give has already probably been done. Have you submitted the CT site to any CT webrings, or more than one search engine? That may help...cheers, MC

My apologies, everyone, for the ads that have appeared on the forum. Yuku has apparently forgotten that I paid for Gold Community membership under ezBoard before the forced transition to Yuku, so I expect this to be sorted out shortly.

I'm really looking for someone just to help me spruce the place up a bit and add some new life--a forum admin of sorts. We still have several loyal visitors that drop in, but I think we can all agree that things have gotten a little stale. So, a new layout may be nice, or at least some new ways to get (and keep) people interested in coming by for discussion. I just don't have the time or energy to put into the board, and that sort of thing doesn't seem to fit the skill set of most of the Committee members.

So, if you'd like to help me breathe some new life into this thing, then I am all for it! Send me an email (novelist@chronotrigger.info) and we'll talk some more about it.
