On the same day? That would be interesting to see which sold better. I'd bank my money on the webslinger. Although the 13 year old girls would flock for Depp.
In fact, there's this one guy I know who dressed up as Sparrow for last year's Halloween. In addition to getting the costume and make-up perfect, he's known for being able to impersonate Jack. So whenever girls saw him and recognized him for who he was trying to be, and then heard his impression, some of them would be all like "Oh my god! I need to kiss you!" And he'd be like "...Um...okay."
I didn't actually see any of this, but I'm willing to believe it happened to him. He really CAN impersonate Sparrow, and besides, there are some pretty crazy girls out there.
Haha that's awesome. I'd do something like that but Kevin Bacon isn't really considered hot stuff anymore. Or any of the other actors that look like me.
I can't think of any actors who bear a resemblance to myself, but there's actually another guy I know who reminds people of Tom Cruise.
He says he considers it rude to compare him to Cruise since: "people are comparing me to a guy who believes that aliens came down to Earth and put souls in our bodies." A reference to Scientology, evidently.
Haha but he can walk into a bar and pretend to be Tom Cruise. There has to be some fun in that somehow. All I can do with Kevin Bacon is dress up in some sweats and prance around when the high school principal or the locals piss me off. Haha interepretive emo dancing for the win.
That'd be the worst day ever. I love Pirates, I love Spider-Man. Of course, I'd just go into the theater and watch one, then just walk over to where they were showing the other one and slip in. It's not legal, and it's quite unscrupulous, but it is effective.
I want to see Blades of Glory. It looks hilarious.
And, nope, I haven't seen TMNT. I'm not sure what to expect, as I'm still a little taken-aback by the rebirth of the franchise.
Chrono Trigger Novel Project: Serving the Chrono and literary communities through the meticulous and ambitious creation of a CT novel for all to enjoy.
I guess that goes to show you. Edd of Ed, Edd n' Eddy fame was right when he stated that "fads go in a cycle. In another ten years we'll be back in style!"
I'd definitely not have a problem with that scenario, I'd go see Spider-Man 3 and not waste my money on Pirates since I don't like that series. The only good thing to come out of that movie is Kiera Knightley.
I don't want to see TMNT that much. Once I heard that the main enemy is aliens and monsters I was turned off. Sure the Turtles have only one group of enemies but the dynamic between them is what made the cartoon show so and first two movies so good. I'll probably see it on DVD sometime but I won't be paying movie ticket money to go see it.
I rarely see movies in the theaters just because most of them are not worth the 10 dollars to go see them. Sure the experience is much better if you go to a theater but I just don't like most movies. They are all the same. I was really dissapointed that I didn't get to see The Number 23 because it is rare when I actually want to go see a movie in the theaters. I know I'll be seeing Spider-Man 3 though. Midnight showing for yours truly.
Because people in general don't like going that late?
I'll say this, though, July is going to be the month of Harry Potter, what with both the final book coming out as well as the fifth movie. Ah, it can't come soon enough.
